If you are at a loose end on Sunday morning, El Cisne rastro is the place to visit. The market is a bustling place  with all nationalities mingling looking for a bargain.   The stall holders, some on their personal pitches, others on makeshift tables sell everything,  both new and old.  Compatible printer inks can be bought for 3€, also antiquated mirrors and chests, a variety of  Dutch cheeses, 60s and 70s memorabilia.  In the centre of the rastro, live music is played at lunch time. The artists play a variety of  music from jazz, 60's, rock & pop and there is even "John the Irish fiddler" who is very popular and get the crowd going. There are several restaurants and bars which provide refreshments  and "menu del dia" at a reasonable price.
As always you have to take care of your belonging as there are pickpockets around.  The police have a visual presence but as everywhere be on your guard! The rastro is situated on the road out of Benidorm with the junction of N332. The No. 10 bus also stops right outside the market.
