Driving down the Avd Mediteraneo this afternoon, I could not help but notice the board outside one of the many bars. As prices for beer in the UK rose last week to over £3 - due to the VAT rise, here in Benidorm they seem to have come down !!!!

For those of you that can't see the small board, here is a close up.

Yes, it does say 1 euro for a PINT of San Miguel  - and that's NOT a Happy Hour special price - its ALL DAY!!!! Almost makes it worth while to fly down for a weekend just for the beer, as the savings on each pint would add up to the price of the flight on Ryanair.
