On Sunday 23rd March the stage of Benidorm Palace will come alive with a special one night only performance by the iconic 60´s Merseybeat group "The Swinging Blue Jeans" and Liverpudlian comic Stan Boardman - two for the price of one!
Many will remember classics such as "Hippy Hippy Shake", "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "You´re no Good"- which will all be belted out by the group on the night and I am sure some reference to German´s will also be made!
It will be an incredible night, with a rare opportunity to see two iconic performances on the same stage in one night. Benidorm Palace owner Christine Climent has over the years managed to attract some big names here - The Searchers, Danny La Rue, Julio Inglesias as well as hosting some tremendous charity events. Even the Christmas special of the ITV Benidorm series was filmed here!
Tickets are now available at the box office, priced at 25 euros - all seating is numbered and tables will be shared if necessary. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 9:00pm - a special chicken or fish and chips meal can be purchased for only 8 euros, making it a full night out.

COMPETITION
One very lucky reader can win a pair of tickets to this fabulous event by answering 2 very simple questions:
1. What was the original group name of "The Swinging Blue Jeans"?
2. Why was Stan Boardman banned from the BBC?
