ITV´s flagship daytime show "This Morning" is being broadcast live on Monday 16th July from the Sol Pelicanos hotel poolside. Benidorm has certainly become very popular and it is not an unusual site to spot a British television company filming in the town. I personally know of 5 other shows currently being filmed in the area - we are flavour of the month!

Made famous by the ITV hit comedy series, the Sol Pelicanos is the fictitious Solana Resort making it an ideal location and already familiar to many who watch the show. Holiday makers come to the hotel specially to take a look around after seeing it in the show and Morgans Tavern, which is across the road is the location of "Neptunes" nightclub in the series.

The "This Morning" show fuses live topical discussions, celebrity chat, entertainment news, exclusive performances and has won numerous awards year after year including the National Television Awards "Best Daytime Programme" for 2012.

The show will be presented by the bubbly Alison Hammond, Matt Johnson and X-Factor´s Johnny Robinson plus there will be  special guest appearances from some of the current popular Benidorm cast! You will also recognize many of the guests that will be popping by throughout the morning as they are familiar Benidorm personalities and faces.

The show is aired from 10.30am till 12.30pm UK time so you can watch it here an hour later. If you are planning on doing a spot of star spotting on the day then bring your camera´s as you won´t be disappointed. You will even possibly spot a few of the "special guests" out and about in Benidorm over the following weekend - I won´t spoil it and tell you who or where to look but keep your eyes open!
