This Autumn, the mother of all fundraisers ´Aid The Costas´ will be taking place in Benidorm spread across 2 days – Sunday 2 October and Monday 3 October. This event has been organised by 2 incredible ladies - Casey Shaddock a veteran charity event organiser and Christine Climent, owner of Benidorm Place, the venue for this extravaganza. The vision was based on Live Aid and originally planned for 2020... until a certain pandemic disrupted life!

This megathon will be raising money for 4 separate and very well deserving charities here on the Costa Blanca: The Apanee school in Torrevieja for children with intellectual and physical disabilities, Benidorm Dog Homing, Franciscan men´s Shelter in Gandia and Little Pod Association based on the Orihuela Costa.

On Sunday there will be 2 separate events. An afternoon show with 10 local acts – 6 from Benidorm made up of West Life tribute, Pablo Bloom, Ball & Boe, The Fantastics, Heidi Galvin and Meatloaf tribute plus 4 from the Orihuela Costa – Rob Falsini (original lead singer and co-lyrist of the stage show Le Reve in Las Vegas), Greg Bannis (lead singer with Hot Chocolate for over 16 years), Shani Ormiston and Nigel Burchill as Elvis. Tickets for this afternoon charity concert are priced at €10.

On Sunday evening there will be not one but two 60´s legends that will absolutely rock the palace: Herman´s Hermits who produced hits such as ´No Milk Today´, ´I´m Into Something Good´ and ´There´s a Kind of Hush´ plus The Fortunes who gave us hits such as ´You´ve Got Your Troubles´, ´Here It Comes Again´ and ´Seasons In the Sun´. Tickets for this double billing are only €30.

On Monday evening there will be 2 iconic voices and performers of the 60´s and 70´s. First to open will be Paul Da Vinci of the Rubettes, the incredible three and a half octave voice of the hit ´Sugar Baby Love´.

Being all in aid of charity, there will obviously be plenty of raffles and auction prizes, with a chance of winning a top prize of €1,000 CASH, 2nd prize €500 cash and 3rd prize of €250 cash… not at all bad for a €5 ticket! Even if you can´t be there, you can still buy a ticket either at the palace box office or online at Tickets for all 3 shows are on sale at the Benidorm Palace box office. There is a HUGE target to reach so lets all dig deep for 4 amazing local charities and causes yet at the same time, witness some great music legends. What could possibly be better?
