Although some parts of Spain experience snowfall we are blessed here on the Costa Blanca to live in a microclimate, protected from the harsh weather most of the time. This certainly makes Benidorm a great choice for winter sunshine, especially with such a short flight time from the UK. With the promise of 3,000 hours of sunshine plus price comparisons, showing alcohol and eating out far cheaper, it is no surprise so many flock here.
